Frequently asked questions.
What's the difference between a form and a survey on Succo?
Forms are short, embeddable widgets you drop on a website — typically 1 to 5 fields like contact, NPS, or waitlist. Surveys are longer, AI-drafted questionnaires (5 to 15 questions) you publish via a public link, with bias detection and multi-step flow.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan is forever free and doesn't require a credit card. Upgrade only when you need more.
How is Succo different from Typeform or Tally?
Typeform and Tally are great form builders, but they stop at collection. Succo focuses on three things they don't do: making sure your questions aren't biased, turning open-ended answers into clear themes, and giving you a configurable live dashboard — with filters, breakdowns, PDF export, and a public embed — for every survey and form. It's form builder plus research assistant plus live analytics.
Can I publish a live dashboard on my website or in a Notion page?
Yes. Every survey and form gets an auto-generated analytics dashboard you can embed via iframe, script snippet, or paste-as-link in Notion / Ghost / Canva (oEmbed). The embed updates as new responses arrive, with no Succo navigation chrome.
Can I keep one dashboard public and one for internal use?
Yes. Each survey or form can have multiple saved dashboards — for example a minimal public embed and a detailed internal one with all KPIs and filters.
What can I customize on the dashboard?
A lot. Pick the chart type for any block (11 types: bar, stacked bar, donut, histogram, NPS, radar, heatmap, line, KPI card, comparison, text). Drag to reorder. Set full width. Add a breakdown by any other question. Apply global filters that recompute every block at once. Save multiple dashboards per survey — for example a public minimal one and a detailed internal one — and switch between them in one click.
What does “bias-checked” mean?
Before you publish a survey, Succo flags common question problems: leading questions, double-barreled questions, social desirability bias, unbalanced response options, and order effects. You get suggestions to fix them.
Can I import data I've already collected?
Yes. You can upload past interview notes, PDFs, Word docs, CSV/Excel files, or paste text directly. Succo treats them as input alongside live form and survey responses.
Where is my data stored?
EU data residency on all plans. Succo is built with GDPR in mind from day one.
